Welcoming Macauley Jewell – our latest electrician to join!

We’re pleased to introduce the newest addition to the Datel Electrical team, Macauley Jewell, who joins us as a qualified electrician, bringing with him years of hands on experience and strong local knowledge.

Macauley lives in Newton Abbot and has been working in the electrical trade for over 13 years. He started his journey with an apprenticeship at South Devon College and has spent his career working across the local area, building up a solid reputation for being reliable, hardworking and practical. His experience across domestic and commercial projects makes him a great fit for the type of work we carry out every day.

Being local is something that matters to us at Datel, and Macauley knows the area well. He has worked with and alongside many trades and businesses locally over the years, and he already knows several members of our team, which has made settling in that bit easier. He’s looking forward to getting stuck in and being part of the Datel family.

Outside of work, family life keeps him busy. Macauley is a proud dad to his son Ashton, who is 10 years old. As a part time 50/50 dad, a lot of his free time is spent with Ashton, whether that’s taking him to martial arts, spending time together locally, or just enjoying the everyday moments that matter most.

When he gets the chance to relax, you’ll usually find Macauley catching up on a good Netflix series or socialising with friends and family. He’s known for being easy going, approachable and someone who just gets on with the job in hand, qualities that fit perfectly with how we work as a team.

Macauley brings with him a strong work ethic, a calm and friendly nature, and the kind of practical experience that comes from years on the tools. We’re really pleased to have him on board and are confident our customers will enjoy working with him just as much as we do.
