Welcoming Chelsey Maud to the Datel Team

We’re delighted to introduce the newest member of the Datel Electrical office team, Chelsey Maud, who has joined us as a part time Business Co-ordinator, working alongside Lauren to support the day to day running of the business.

Chelsey is based in Torquay and is a familiar face to many of us already, she is Dave’s step daughter and has grown up around the business over the years. It feels very natural to now have her officially part of the Datel team, helping behind the scenes and supporting our customers.

Family has always been a huge part of Chelsey’s life. She is engaged and mum to her little boy, Arlo-Jay, who was born prematurely and is now four years old. Over the past few years, Chelsey has focused on looking after him and supporting her family, and this is her first role back in work since becoming a mum. It’s a big step and one we’re really proud to be part of.

Before joining Datel, Chelsey worked in care as a team leader, a role that required patience, organisation and compassion. She also trained and worked as a hairdresser, so she’s no stranger to working with people and keeping things running smoothly. These skills are already proving invaluable in her new position, where she helps keep the office organised, supports communication with customers and assists the wider team.

Outside of work, Chelsey enjoys spending as much time as possible with friends and family. She also ‘adopts’ Dave’s dog, so there are plenty of walks and fresh air involved in her downtime. When she does get a moment to relax, you’ll likely find her watching romantic films or Disney favourites, with The Little Mermaid being top of the list.

Looking ahead, Chelsey and her partner are excited about the future and hope to grow their family further in the years to come.
