Commercial External Lighting Fittings

Datel Electrical recently completed a range of external, outdoor electrical work for a local company, Peak Gen. Our team of commercial electricians, worked closely with the client, from initial contact through to project completion, to ensure all work was completed to their requirements and within a sensible time frame.

What Did The Commercial Electrical Project Entail?

Lead Gen needed to replace some external lights that were situated over a diesel generator. Not only were these lights important for safety on the work site, but also helped ensure employees could continue working safely during the darker winter months.

To keep the site operational, Lead Gen approached Datel Electrical to replace the emergency lighting quickly and efficiently, to minimise safety concerns and potential downtime for the company.

How Did Datel Electrical Help?

To complete the project, high-level access was required. At Datel Electrical we have the necessary qualifications and training to enable the team to carry out works across a range of environments.  This meant we were able to change out the blown lights and replace them for the client using the necessary safety precautions.

The work included:

• Hiring and manoeuvring the equipment needed to complete the job
• Removal and disposal of old lights
• Installation of new lights
• PAT testing and electrical checks of the new lights
