Celebrating Best Small Business of the Year at the South Devon College Apprenticeship Awards

The South Devon College Apprenticeship Awards were a night to remember for everyone in the region’s skills community – but for us, it was extra-special.

We were incredibly proud to be named Best Small Employer of the Year which recognised our commitment to nurturing talent and opening doors for local young people across Torbay and beyond – Growing Talent, Building Relationships is our motto!

Growing Talent, Building Relationships

• Growing our own talent. Skilled trades and renewable technology expertise are in short supply locally. By creating structured, salaried roles we make sure the next generation continues to use their skillset in the area.
• Championing local opportunity. We want bright young people to see a future here in the Bay, not feel they have to move away to progress. Apprenticeships let them earn, learn and build lasting careers close to home.
• Keeping standards high. Our industry moves quickly. Alongside formal college study, apprentices learn on real installations under the guidance of fully certified engineers. Theory and site experience produces confident, safety-focused professionals.
We are incredibly proud to be helping to train tomorrow’s talent and, in our 25-year history, so far we have helped over twenty apprentices achieve their goals.
